Widow-maker hill

The road from the bottom of our town to the banco & our resort lobby has been dubbed "Widow-maker hill". It is at such an incline that you feel proud each time you negotiate it. During the climb, you must diligently keep your eyes down to the pavement. With all the loose rock and damaged pavement, you must be careful NOT to trip. The cars scream by and the road is just wide enough for two cars to barely pass each other. Then the sidewalks are narrow and in disrepair. Hey, it's Costa Rica!

Yesterday, I had a haircut and hubby had the car thus the challenge. First you take the long look to your destination, next you find small victories. I'll make it to Freddy's parking lot, then the lawyer's office. Now the banco isn't that far and finally you cross the street to the resort entrance. Breathing hard, you smile because it is all downhill from here. PHEW, I can't wait to do it again tomorrow.
