Such a shame! Our store (del Pacifico or 'the Canadian store') across from the closest gas station and next door to our car wash, has closed! It was a popular stop on the way back from the airport. Last week, we were there and noticed the shelves looked sort of empty but just figured the holiday weekend wiped them out. Neighbor, Jo, was there a couple days ago and it was their last day. We were thrilled when this store opened and then Tamarindo opened one even bigger. I guess the area cannot support both.
What will Bruce and Jennifer do for their favorite gringo coffee creamer?? I'll be trying the new store near Villa Real soon. Fingers crossed.
FYI- closest gringo type grocery store (Auto Mercado) is about 20-25 min away in Tamarindo. A local grocery, Super Compro, in Huacas is about 15 min. Very different..
