A great day with the gals. Started out with Zumba at 9am, gave a car battery jump to a girlfriend, and then drove a couple of hours on the road with 4 other gals. We went to Avellana Beach for lunch. The lunch was fabulous and the beach is beautiful. However, the roads were really a challenge. There were mostly very bumpy dirt roads. I would love to go back if I plan to stay the day. For that drive I would want to stay at the beach, have a massage with a lovely lady named Amy, and enjoy lunch. The smoothies drinks were almost $4 and when you added a shot of rum, they were almost $8 so I would skip the drinks. The cokes were 1200 colones for an example of pricing. My Caesar salad with chicken was 6200 colones. The roundtrip was about 5 hrs with lunch.
